About Vamos•J

Originated in Japan, Vamos•J has been developing the next generation of players since 2011. Current ATP and WTA players, including Belinda Bencic, Jaume Munar, and Olga Danilovic participated in local camps before breaking through at the professional level.

Led by world-class coaches, juniors are introduced to an exclusive program that includes on-court clinics, high-level match play, and seminar-style presentations over the course of three days.

From Vamos•J to the world stage

  • Belinda Bencic (SUI)

    Bencic traveled to camps in Japan twice during her junior tennis career, saying Vamos•J was one of her most memorable tennis experiences before turning pro. In 2014, Bencic was named WTA's Newcomer of the Year and was ranked as high as World No. 7 when she was 18.

  • Jaume Munar (ESP)

    A year after reaching the 2014 Roland-Garros Boy's final, Munar attended Vamos•J in Madrid as a 2015 camp participant. The Mallorca-native later cracked the ATP top-100 a month after his 21st birthday.

  • Olga Danilovic (SRB)

    Danilovic has attended two Vamos•J camps - one in Madrid and another in Croatia. A year after participating in the 2017 Croatia camp, Danilovic was ranked as high as 96 in the world and was the first player born in the 2000's to win a WTA title.

    Yoshinori Nakayama (JPN)

    A Vamos•J coach since its start in 2011, Nakayama is the head coach of the Japan Tennis Association (JTA) junior girls' development and the captain of the Japanese U14 World Team.

    Kensuke Goto (JPN)

    Goto has been a Vamos•J coach since its start in 2011. He is a two-time champion of the Japanese Tennis National Athletic Meet and a JTA S-ranked Elite Coach.

    Nick Horvat (CRO)

    Horvat began working with junior players at Vamos•J camps beginning in 2015. Over the past decade, Horvat has been the Croatian Tennis Federation (CTF) head coach for junior tennis and has also worked with WTA players Donna Vekic and Timea Babos.
